Mold Series (2005–2007)

Small figures remain upon the wall, each carrying its own silence. Their bent bodies resemble beings enduring the weight of life and the passage of time.

​

Human beings exist alone, yet cannot completely leave one another behind. This work reflects on existence suspended between solitude and relationships, and on the contemplation that emerges from that condition.

작은 형상들은 벽 위에 머물며 저마다의 침묵을 품고 있다. 아래로 꺾인 몸은 삶의 무게와 시간의 흐름을 견디는 존재의 모습을 닮아 있다.

​

홀로 존재하지만 서로의 곁을 떠날 수 없는 인간. 이 작업은 고독과 관계 사이에서 흔들리는 존재의 사유를 담고 있다.
