Exhibition Study (2020)

A scale model exploring the spatial relationships created by repeated forms. Through the viewer's movement, distances and rhythms continuously shift, examining the spatial possibilities of painting.

 

The Earth is tilted 23.5 degrees and rotates one day.
Then it rotates on a yearly basis. So we have four seasons.
We are also living a life of repetition, tilting our heads from side to side, trying to keep them at 23.5 degrees.
Anxiety about an uncertain future, relationships that are repeatedly made and broken in an unstable life seem empty and fleeting.

전시 구상 연구 (2020)

반복되는 형상이 공간 속에서 맺는 관계를 탐구한 전시 모형이다. 관람자의 움직임에 따라 거리와 리듬이 변화하며 회화의 공간적 가능성을 실험하였다.

​

지구는 23.5도 기운 채 하루 단위의 자전과 1년 단위의 공전을 한다. 그래서 4계절이 생긴다.
우리도 고개를 좌우로 갸우뚱하며 23.5 도로 유지하려고 기운 채 반복되고 있는 삶을 살아가고 있다.
불확실한 미래에 대한 불안, 불안정한 삶에서 반복되고 맺어지고 사라지는 관계는 텅 비고 덧없는 것 같다.
