A human figure is carved out of a wooden panel. The removed wood is then burned into charcoal and placed in front of the figure.

The empty space signifies an absent presence, while the charcoal represents the trace of matter transformed into another state.

This work reflects on the relationship between creation and dissolution, presence and absence, revealing the process through which human beings ultimately return to the cycle of nature.
